Goods for today's brewery tour in Traunstein at the Hofbräuhaus. Had a very good patient lady who skilfully showed us around the brewery. She could explain everything very well and understandably and no question went unanswered. The tour was very nice and informative, and you could learn a lot about the art of brewing. Would recommend this brewery tour to all visitors to Traunstein. Absolutely great. Keep it up

2 out of 4 meals did not go at all: Pike fillet full of bones Onion roast not through The table was cleared as soon as a plate was empty, not everything together when everyone was ready. Plates are taken away from you, although your mouth is full ..

The beer is awesome !!! We ourselves are from the area and so far you could always eat well, but haven't been there for a long time. As we found out, the permanent staff was no longer there and the new staff was obviously unmotivated and overwhelmed. BUT !! Apart from the beer there is no further reason to visit this "Bavarian restaurant" again !!!!!! In general it was not very clean, especially the toilets, an imposition for the guest! You should also clean up in between, especially during these times. Apart from the beer, the food is below it all ... to get to the point. The soups were thin and tasteless, but the following "Schnitzel" Viennese style could be seen that it came from the freezer counter of a cheap discounter. The beef juice goulash was only served lukewarm. For the HOFBRÄUHAUS Traunstein actually unworthy as it is also a flagship of the city. After briefly inspecting the 2nd course, we made the decision to leave the restaurant. The fact that no staff thought it necessary to come to the table to ask (as is actually usual) was paid at the counter and the problem was addressed. The waitress was not visibly shocked and probably knew about the problems in the kitchen. It's a shame for this restaurant and the landlords because we were used to something different from you.

Just excellent Bavarian cuisine and a good beer from the Hofbräuhaus Traunstein. What else can you actually want? Highly recommended, small but fine menu in top quality!

Best Beer in Town :-)

Not only is first class beer produced there, but the customer service is also good. We were served in the most friendly way by Tatiana Kreuzer today in the Ladl, you can literally feel the passion for the product, rounded off with a large portion of child-friendliness, we were very satisfied with our purchase and would be happy to recommend the brewery to others. The Sailer family can only be proud of such employees!

Yes, that was cool. OK, maybe a bit difficult to understand if you are not from Bavaria, but since I have already had several tours of breweries, the classic "brewing" was not an issue. But everything outside was interesting, it was very simple, but at least designed to be interactive. The beer tasting including an advertising film for a job at HB Traunstein, even more fun. My advice, take the two hours, it's entertaining, fun and really interesting, also why Elector Maximilian founded Hofbräuh houses in the first place.

The brewery tour was great. One experienced an interesting time during the tour, which, although it lasted 1 hour, was very entertaining. The tour was very informative and the different brewing processes were explained individually. Another great advantage was the inside view of the tanks in which the processes were taking place, which could be seen with the help of integrated windows. In addition, our "guides" were very nice and had a few jokes in store. At the end of the tour, there was a beer tasting with 3 different types. There was also something for the little ones who had the choice between Fanta and a Spezi. There was also a small snack, which were pretzels, these were also very tasty for my taste. Now for the price, the price was very CHEAP, especially if you consider that the beer, specialty and pretzels were FREE, or rather included in the price. The final price was € 8.50 for ADULTS and € 4.50 for CHILDREN.

Today we had a fun, informative tour of the brewery, with delicious tasting of 3 different beers 🍺🍺🍺. Daniela did a really great job. Highly recommended for young and old. For the little ones there was of course Spezi🥤. Thank you

The beer was the only positive thing about the visit. Fries were felt 20 times in the deep fryer just like the "Wiener Schnitzel". The end result was a plate of deep fryer fat.

The brewery tour in the Hofbräuhaus Traunstein was a real highlight. The uncomplicated pre-registration (in times of Corona) gave us the last of the highly coveted places. At the beginning we were guided through all levels of traditional beer production. We saw both the modern processes of brewing beer and the traditional processes hundreds of years ago. From the malting to the logistics, every area was explained very well and its development was shown. Afterwards, the tasting of three types of beer paired with a short film about the brewery was the highlight of the tour. There is traditionally a Bavarian "pretzel" free of charge. Overall, I can look back on a great tour with nice conversations, which I can recommend to everyone at an affordable price.

Food was good, unfortunately the staff is not fit maybe because of the mouthguard on warm days. The waiter made a very distracting impression and so we were also part of the service forgotten part wrong. Fortunately we were only in transit. I finally got my salary when the others finished eating.

Impossible not to know the HB Traunstain. Its brewery of deep and ancient tradition produces excellent beers in low German fermentation style which is not difficult to find in many areas of Europe. The on-site factory also houses an excellent gasthaus where you can taste the beers accompanied by excellent classic German food. Visiting the school we were able to view the entire factory. the copper-plated cooking rooms are sparkling and very beautiful. The bottling department is really very large and always active. While the cellars are impressive, with the ripening tanks set in the walls and illuminated by an intense red light that comes out of the company logo. The fermenters can also be inspected from above, from where it is possible to view what happens during fermentation

Very nice and extensive tour! Nice presentations starting with a film about lights and stories! It is highly recommended I will definitely do it again.

Enjoyed very good snack. Unfortunately, only one beer. Had to go. I have bookmarked as a station for the next company outing.

A really nice and very interesting brewery tour, carried out by Kathrin. Since Hofbräuhaus Traunstein has given a lot of effort and money taken in hand to ensure guests the history of beer, and especially, of course, to explain their own brewing first hand the general art of brewing beer. To see is of course the modern brewery itself, along with a lot of video and photo material, dolls, old machinery was with those brewed earlier, such as old Abüllanlagen, mash tubs and much more! Big compliment!

We were here today for brewery tour. After the friendly reception there was a delicious beer tasting with pretzels. Petra then took us through the impressive grounds and told us a lot about beer brewing and the family history of Sailer. She made the visit to a wonderful experience for us, for which we say thank you very much.
